Types of Land Records
There are primarily 4 types of land records, and many others are available on the official website:
- VF6 or Village Form 6: This is a register maintained by the Talati (village revenue officer) at the village level to record and track changes in land ownership and other land-related details.
- VF7 or Village Form 7: This is a register that contains detailed information about the ownership of land in a village. It records the names of the landowners, the extent of land owned, and any rights or encumbrances on the land. It is maintained by the Talati (village revenue officer).
- VF8A or Village Form 8A: All the details of the Khata are on VF-8A
- 135 D Notice for Mutation: Talathi released a notice and asked for objections on changes in land records.
The Record of Rights (RoR) is crucial for various activities like obtaining loans, getting subsidies, and acquiring electricity connections. RoR data is updated every season with crop information. |
